‘Avoid travel’: India issues advisory for its nationals in Bangladesh

Indian High Commission in Dhaka has urged its nationals in Bangladesh to avoid unnecessary travel amid anti-quota protests and transport shutdowns. Student protesters have called for a nationwide shutdown of transportation and businesses starting from Thursday, aiming to pressure Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina to abolish the government’s job quota system.
