Bengaluru building collapse: Death toll rises to 9 as rescue operations continue

The death toll from the Babusapalya building collapse in Bengaluru has risen to nine after the body of Elumalai, a building mestri, was found under the rubble. Despite the National Disaster Response Force halting rescue operations, local fire officials continued and located Elumalai. Police have arrested the building owner’s son and the mestri responsible for the initial construction.
