Bid to make up for late arrival at Tatanagar could have led to crash: Passenger groups

An investigation has been launched into the cause of an accident involving the 12810 Howrah-Mumbai mail train. Passenger groups claim it could have been prevented if the train had left on time. Shesh Nath Pathak of Jamshedpur Passengers Association suggested that the pilot may have been speeding to make up for the delay, contributing to the incident.
