Bilal update: Mammootty-Amal Neerad’s long-awaited sequel is back on track confirms art director

Fans of Bilal John Kurishingal can celebrate as the character is set for a return. Art director Joseph Nellikal confirmed that Amal Neerad is working on the much-anticipated sequel to ‘Big B’ with Mammootty. The project titled ‘Bilal’ will commence production after Mammootty finishes his current shoot. While ‘Big B’ revolutionized Malayalam action cinema, Neerad’s recent film ‘Bougainvillea’ is performing well at the box office, despite mixed reviews, recently crossing Rs 30 crores in collections.
