Bizman gets 9 yrs’ jail for forcing wife into unnatural sex

A businessman from Bhilai-Durg twin city in Chhattisgarh’s Durg has been sentenced to nine years of rigorous imprisonment for forcing his wife into unnatural sex. The wife faced mental and physical torture, including forced unnatural sex, and dowry harassment after her marriage in 2007. She filed a complaint in 2016 and the court found the businessman guilty under IPC Section 377. His sister and parents were also sentenced for their involvement in the crime. The sister was sentenced to six months in prison and a fine of Rs 1,000 was slapped on her for ‘voluntarily causing hurt’.
