Bombay HC directs Maharashtra to submit data on safe houses, special cells for interfaith couples by October 21

Bombay High Court has asked the state to submit data on the number of safe houses and special cells created for interfaith and inter-caste couples by Oct 21. The order follows a petition by an interfaith couple seeking protection. The court noted that directions from the Supreme Court and Centre are six years old.
