Bombay HC stays Gokhale Institute VC’s removal till Sept 23

The Bombay High Court has paused Ajit Ranade’s removal as Vice-Chancellor of Pune’s Gokhale Institute of Politics and Economics until September 23. Dismissed for lacking sufficient teaching experience per UGC norms, Ranade has challenged the decision, asserting that he wasn’t given an opportunity to address the committee’s report before his removal.
