Cabinet approves Pradhan Mantri Janjatiya Unnat Gram Abhiyan

Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s Union Cabinet has sanctioned the Pradhan Mantri Janjatiya Unnat Gram Abhiyan with an outlay of Rs 79,156 crore. The initiative seeks to uplift the socio-economic status of tribal communities through comprehensive coverage in tribal-majority villages and aspirational districts across India. It targets over 63,000 villages and benefits more than 5 crore tribal people.
