Cabinet approves three mega railway projects covering Odisha, Jharkhand, West Bengal, and Chhattisgarh worth Rs 6,400 crore

The Cabinet Committee on Economic Affairs has sanctioned three major railway projects worth about Rs 6,456 crore in Odisha, Jharkhand, West Bengal, and Chhattisgarh. These include two new railway lines and a multi-tracking project, expanding the rail network by nearly 300 kilometers. The projects aim to enhance connectivity, create jobs, and support India’s climate goals.
