Cabinet clears metro rail projects, airports worth Rs 34,000 crore

The government had approved three metro rail projects in Karnataka and Maharashtra, along with two civilian airports, involving investments of Rs 33,718 crore. This was part of nearly Rs 2 lakh crore in approvals over nine weeks. The projects aim to enhance metro networks and infrastructure, expecting increased ridership and job creation.
