CBI files FIR against Sandip Ghosh over financial irregularities at RG Kar

The CBI filed an FIR against former RG Kar Medical College principal Sandip Ghosh over alleged financial irregularities, following a Calcutta High Court directive. A Special Investigation Team from Kolkata Police, who initiated the probe in 2022, handed over documents to CBI. The court expects a progress report within three weeks and will next hear the case on September 17.
