Chandigarh mayor polls put off, protests erupt

The Chandigarh mayoral polls, originally scheduled for Thursday, were postponed to February 6 due to the illness of the presiding officer, Anil Masih. The postponement triggered protests from Congress and AAP councillors. The election was supposed to take place at the assembly hall of MC at 11am.
