Chhattisgarh: Eight Naxalites surrender in Bijapur

Eight Naxalites, including a woman and three with bounties totaling Rs 11 lakh, surrendered in Chhattisgarh’s Bijapur district. Active in various Maoist wings, they received Rs 25,000 each for surrendering and will be rehabilitated under state policy. This year has seen 178 Naxalite surrenders in the district.
