China denies US and Microsoft claims of ‘Volt Typhoon’ hacking, says its “political farce”

China has refuted US and Microsoft’s claims about the Volt Typhoon hacking group’s infiltration of American infrastructure, labeling it a political farce. China’s National Computer Virus Emergency Response Center asserted that evidence is insufficient and accused the US of deploying cyber warfare forces for network penetration and reconnaissance. Google have also previously linked Volt Typhoon to China.
