A’bao, a 30-year-old painter, succumbed to multiple organ failure after an exhausting work schedule of 104 days with only one day off. The court ruled that the company was 20% responsible and ordered compensation for his family. His work conditions violated Chinese Labour Law’s regulations on working hours.
