Clickbait: Air Force staffer waiting for couriered rakhi loses Rs 1.6 lakh in Bengaluru

An Indian Air Force cook, P Papa Rao, became a victim of cybercrime, losing Rs 1.6 lakh. Rao’s phone was hacked when he contacted a fake courier support number, thinking his sister’s rakhi parcel was misplaced. Despite not sharing any sensitive information, his bank account was drained in three transactions. He reported the incident to cybercrime police.
