CMFRI Vizag regional centre organises awareness programme on marine ecosystem

The Visakhapatnam regional centre of ICAR-CMFRI hosted an awareness programme on marine biodiversity conservation, focusing on endangered species protection. Stakeholders, including fishermen and officials, discussed issues like coastal pollution and harmful fishing practices. Twenty-five fishermen were honored for their rescue efforts. The event aimed to enhance community engagement in protecting vital marine ecosystems.
