CM’s house: Delhi HC asks 6 PWD officials to approach tribunal
The Delhi High Court has instructed six Public Works Department officials who are facing show-cause notices over the renovation of Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal’s official residence to approach the Central Administrative Tribunal (CAT) as it is a service matter. The court stated that the officials’ challenge before its single judge was not maintainable and should have been dismissed from the beginning. The court cited a Supreme Court ruling, stating that in service disputes, an application must be made to the tribunal at the first instance.
