Communication gap led to Rajasthan loss: Rahul Gandhi

Rahul Gandhi praised the Ashok Gehlot government’s welfare schemes but disagreed with Gehlot’s argument that BJP polarised the Rajasthan elections. He said Congress failed to communicate the state’s path-breaking welfare schemes to voters. Many Congress leaders believed dropping senior leaders and MLAs would have given the party a better chance. Rahul and Gehlot had arguments over replacing MLAs, but Gehlot prevailed in retaining most of them. Changes in the state organization may be considered.
