Cong moves privilege motion against PM Modi for sharing Thakur’s LS speech

Congress MP Charanjit Singh Channi moved a Privilege Motion notice against Prime Minister Modi in Lok Sabha. This followed Modi’s tweet endorsing BJP MP Anurag Thakur’s speech, which had portions expunged for being abusive. The Congress party argued that the Prime Minister’s endorsement was a breach of parliamentary privilege and inflammatory.
