Congress faces post-defeat turmoil in Chhattisgarh

Stung by the staggering defeat in the assembly elections, a section of Congress leaders in Chhattisgarh is calling for the resignation of state party chief Deepak Baij. However, the 42-year-old tribal leader from Bastar argues that he alone cannot be blamed for the defeat since the election was fought under joint leadership.
