Cuttack hotel manager among 3 arrested for K’pada teen’s rape

The manager of a hotel in Cuttack and two others have been arrested for the gang rape of a 17-year-old girl. The teenager, who is a student, was raped after being offered a spiked drink by her friend. The friend contacted the other two suspects who then took her to the hotel and raped her. The trio has been charged under relevant sections of the IPC and the Protection of Children from Sexual Offences Act. Bail applications for the accused were rejected.
