Dating scam: How a woman lost Rs 3.37 lakh in ‘friendship fraud’ on Tinder

A Mumbai art director fell victim to an online scam, losing Rs 3.37 lakh to a man she met on Tinder who posed as being detained at the airport. She was about to transfer more money when a bank official intervened, preventing further loss. Police have registered a case and are investigating.
