Declined Rs 2 lakh offer for slippers stitched by Rahul: Cobbler

Ramchet, a cobbler from Sultanpur, received a visit from Congress MP Rahul Gandhi following a court appearance on July 26. Gandhi spent time at Ramchet’s shop, tried mending footwear, and later sent an electric shoe stitching machine. Since then, offers have flooded in for the footwear mended by Gandhi, but Ramchet refuses to sell them.
