Delhi cops quiz Navlakha in Mumbai for 3 hours in NewsClick case
Delhi Police’s special investigation team interrogated activist Gautam Navlakha in Mumbai for over three hours regarding the UAPA case against web portal NewsClick. Navlakha, who is also an accused in the Bhima Koregaon-Elgar Parishad Maoist link case, has been under house arrest. The SIT questioned Navlakha about alleged funding from China and his association with the portal and its editor Prabir Purkayastha. The UAPA FIR against NewsClick also names Shanghai-based businessman Neville Roy Singham as an accused, whom Delhi Police claim infused crores to disrupt India’s sovereignty and territorial integrity.
