Delhi court acquits former MLA Ranbir Singh Kharb and wife in cheating case

A Delhi court has acquitted former MLA Ranbir Singh Kharb and his wife, Anita Kharb, in a cheating case due to insufficient evidence. The court found discrepancies in the prosecution’s case. The couple had challenged their seven-year sentence. Earlier, they were convicted for defrauding investors between 1998 and 2004 through ‘Jyoti Fair Finance Company’.
