Delhi drivers to get 50 percent discount on traffic fines

The Delhi government is introducing a measure to cut traffic fines by 50 percent for specific violations, encouraging prompt payment and reducing judicial backlog. Offenders get 90 days to settle existing challans and 30 days for new ones. This proposal is awaiting approval from Lieutenant Governor V K Saxena.
