The Mehrauli Archaeological Park in New Delhi has been transformed and revamped, with the restoration of several heritage structures. Visitors can now enjoy a self-serve cafe while exploring the park. The Quli Khan’s Tomb and Metcalfe’s boathouse have been restored, along with a rejuvenated water body. The park, which has 55 monuments, has been cleaned and restored to showcase its 13th-century architecture. The cost of the revamp was approximately Rs 2.6 crore. The Metcalfe boathouse will serve as an interpretation center, and traditional materials and techniques were used for the restoration work.
