Delhi riots case: 9 charged with vandalism

Charges have been framed against nine men in a case related to the 2020 Delhi riots. The charges include rioting, arson, vandalism, house trespass, and other offenses. The court has rejected the defense’s argument about the credibility of evidence and stated that at this stage, the probative value of evidence should not be considered. The accused were identified as part of a mob that engaged in assault, vandalism, and arson in the Dayalpur area of Delhi. Eyewitness statements and CCTV footage were used to identify the rioters.
