Delhi: Youngster acquitted of raping minor girlfriend

Delhi High Court granted bail to a young man charged under the Pocso Act for allegedly raping a minor girl with whom he was in a relationship. The court flagged the misapplication of the law in cases involving young couples and noted the risks of the accused becoming a hardened criminal if left in jail.
