Dengue continues to sting: 3 cases every 3 hours daily

Lucknow has been experiencing a surge in dengue cases, with three new infections every three hours. Health experts predict that this trend will continue until mid-November. The city is witnessing an average of 29 new cases per day, which is 30% higher than September’s average. The dengue wards in hospitals are filled to capacity. Factors such as rainfall, humidity, and temperature contribute to the spread of the virus. However, experts believe that the situation may improve as temperatures decrease. Mosquito control activities should be intensified in areas with high patient numbers.
