Dense fog, cold conditions in NW India likely in next 2 days

Dense fog and cold day conditions will continue in northwest India, including Punjab, Haryana, Delhi, and Chandigarh. New Year’s Day in parts of UP, MP, and Chhattisgarh may have light rainfall. Tamil Nadu, Kerala, and Lakshadweep may see rain on Monday. Himachal and Uttarakhand will experience light isolated rainfall/snowfall on Saturday. Airports, highways, and railway routes may be affected. Bihar, Odisha, Assam, Meghalaya, Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram, and Tripura may also face very dense fog conditions.
