Dera chief Ram Rahim on 21-day furlough; 8th outing from jail in 3 years

Gurmeet Ram Rahim, the head of Dera Sacha Sauda convicted in rape and murder cases, exited Rohtak’s Sunaria jail on a 21-day furlough. This marks his second release in 2024, amounting to 253 days of furlough since February 2022. His release came quickly following a court order and received clearances from Haryana and UP governments.
