Dili-Delhi connect: India to open embassy in Timor-Leste

India announced the opening of an embassy in Timor-Leste, reciprocated by Timor-Leste’s intention to establish an embassy in New Delhi. This initiative aims to strengthen diplomatic ties between the two nations. President Droupadi Murmu’s upcoming visit to Fiji, New Zealand, and Timor-Leste, beginning August 5, under the Act East Policy, is also a significant diplomatic step.
