Discovery of ancient burials in Malaysia’s Nenggiri Valley

Archaeologists in Malaysia’s Nenggiri Valley have uncovered over a dozen prehistoric burials dating back up to 16,000 years. Led by Zuliskandar Ramli from the National University of Malaysia, the team found 16 individuals and more than 71,000 artefacts. These findings provide valuable insights into pre-Neolithic and Neolithic burial practices and cultural artefacts in Southeast Asia.
