DoT to 5.2 crore M2M providers: Register by September 30 or face service disruption

The Department of Telecommunications has issued a warning to unregistered M2M and WPAN/WLAN service providers to register by September 30, 2024, or risk disruption of their services. These services include devices like smart TVs and digital meters. Bharti Airtel leads the M2M market with a dominant share of 53.86%, followed by Vodafone Idea Limited, Reliance Jio, and BSNL.
