‘Eating own hair’: 2kg hairball removed from girl’s stomach after 16 yrs

A 21-year-old woman from Kargaina, suffering from persistent stomach pain for five years, had two kilograms of hair surgically removed from her stomach. Diagnosed with a hair-eating disorder, she had ingested hair over 16 years, leading to the formation of a trichobezoar. Continued counselling is planned to prevent recurrence.
