ED seizes Rs 8.24 crore in properties linked to former MLA Arif Anwar Hashmi amid money laundering probe

The Enforcement Directorate in Lucknow has attached 21 properties valued at Rs 8.24 crore belonging to ex-MLA Arif Anwar Hashmi and his wife under the Prevention of Money Laundering Act. Hashmi, a two-time Samajwadi Party MLA from Utraula, faces charges including land grabbing, forgery, and criminal conspiracy.
