Egypt’s leader criticizes Israel’s Gaza operation as top US diplomat extends his Mideast mission

Egypt’s President Abdel Fattah el-Sissi criticized Israel’s military operation in Gaza, stating that it has exceeded the right of self-defense and turned into a collective punishment. US Secretary of State Antony Blinken, who is currently on a diplomatic mission in the Middle East, reaffirmed America’s support for Israel but urged them to take every possible precaution to avoid harming civilian.
