‘Ensure no abnormal surge in airfares’: Govt after Delhi airport roof collapse

The aviation authorities have directed airlines to maintain stable ticket prices for flights arriving at and departing from Delhi, in response to the provisional shutdown of Terminal 1 at the city’s airport. This measure aims to prevent any unusual price hikes following a roof collapse incident at the terminal. The incident occurred on Friday morning when a section of the canopy at T1’s old departure forecourt collapsed, tragically claiming one life and injuring at least six individuals.
