Ex-MLA Asif Mohammad Khan sentenced to 6 months for DDA land encroachment

A Delhi court has dismissed the appeal of former MLA Asif Mohammad Khan and sentenced him to six months’ imprisonment. The court upheld his 2018 conviction for offences including criminal trespass and mischief on DDA land in Jasola village, directing him to pay Rs 5 lakh compensation to the Delhi Development Authority.
