Exploring coldest corner of universe: Boomerang Nebula and beyond

Scientists discovered ultra-cold regions on the lunar surface and distant cosmic structures. Lunar craters could be the coldest in our solar system, with temperatures around 25 kelvins. However, the Boomerang Nebula, located 5,000 light-years away, holds the record for the coldest natural place ever measured at one degree Kelvin. Earthly comparisons fall far short of these extremes.
