EY employee death: Probe finds MNC lacked labour welfare permit

An Ernst & Young office in Pune is under investigation following the death of Anna Sebastian Perayil, allegedly due to overwhelming workload. The office has operated without mandatory registration since 2007. Maharashtra’s labour department has rejected EY’s recent application for registration and demanded an explanation within seven days.
