Fed up of same old Konkani songs, two Goan techies begin hunt for new lyrics

Recognizing a lack of new Konkani music within Goan culture, Vincent Toscano and Anil D’Souza initiated a Konkani lyrics-writing contest. Through their organization, Vangdda, they aimed to create Konkani covers of global hits. Participants had limited time to submit their entries, which would later be rated and publicly voted on.
