Final rites of Pravallika held amid tight security

The last rites of a 23-year-old woman who allegedly ended her life in a hostel room in Hyderabad were performed in Bikkajipally village in Warangal district. Extra police personnel were deployed, and only villagers were allowed to attend the funeral. Students attempted to attend the procession and protest against the government, but were taken into custody. The woman’s family blamed the government for not providing job opportunities, and demanded compensation.
