Fire safety officer of company hangs self in Kota

Safaan Shah, a senior fire safety officer at Chambal Fertilizers and Chemicals Limited, allegedly hanged himself in his room in the company’s township in Gadepan village, Kota. Shah had reportedly been under depression following his wife’s suicide a year ago. The police are investigating the incident as an unnatural death since no suicide note was found.
