Florida man convicted of murdering wife in dispute over ‘Zombie House Flipping’ appearance

David Tronnes was found guilty of first-degree murder in the 2018 death of his wife, Shanti Cooper-Tronnes, following a dispute about appearing on the home-renovation television show, “Zombie House Flipping”. He beat and strangled her in their Orlando home. Tronnes was sentenced to life in prison after a five-hour jury deliberation. Tronnes spent thousands of dollars to appear on show but his wife refused. He attempted to clean the murder scene according to evidence.
