FM Nirmala Sitharaman: BSNL to launch 5G services “soon,” government provided “enough assistance”

Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman announced that BSNL would launch 5G services within six to eight months after completing its pan-India 4G rollout by March 2025. BSNL aims to increase its market share to 25% by the end of 2025, leveraging government support and substantial 4G infrastructure expansion to compete with Jio and Airtel.
