Ford to restart manufacturing in Chennai plant for export: Details

Ford exited the Indian market back in 2021 after struggling to scale production. In 2022, the Ford had also halted its export operations, effectively leaving the market. However, Ford has announced plans to re-enter India through exports. The Chennai facility, which was previously a major production site for cars and engines, will now concentrate on manufacturing for global markets.
