Former Wimbledon champion Elena Rybakina pulls out of US Open

World number four Elena Rybakina has withdrawn from the US Open, moving French qualifier Jessika Ponchet to the third round. Rybakina, formerly coached by Stefano Vukov, won against Destanee Aiava before withdrawing. The tournament did not specify reasons for her withdrawal.
